Our 2024 Review: A Year of Transformations, Looking Ahead to a 2025 Full of Flavors and Emotions
2024: A Year of Great Changes
As December arrives and we find ourselves in this special season, it’s time to look back and reflect. Nostalgia fills us as we revisit everything that 2024 has meant. It began as a year full of challenges, with changes in the team structure and the overall management of the business. And now, as the year ends, we realize how much these transformations have helped us grow. We’re thrilled to share this with you, our beloved clients and friends.
A Consolidated and Renewed Team
In the kitchen team, we’re proud to say that everything has remained intact. Myself, the “youngsters” in the kitchen — the two Julen's and Enric — and our dear Jimena have continued giving our best every day to achieve excellence. We’ve been working together for many years, and I hope there are many more to come.
The service team, however, has undergone significant changes. We started the year with the challenge of forming a new team, and it hasn’t been easy. But mid-year, we received the best surprise possible: Valentina, our former manager, returned. After some time away, she came back to La Subhasta more “on fire” than ever. Now, our priority for 2025 is for her to gradually build her ideal team, surrounding herself with amazing people.
We’re thrilled to have Marc in the kitchen and Valentina in the dining room together again, and we know you, our clients, have also been delighted by her return.
Our Collaborators: The Circle of Trust
The big change in 2024 came from our collaborators, our circle of trust. We’ve surrounded ourselves with incredible people, true entrepreneurs who love their work as much as we do. We’d like to introduce them to you:
- Solver, our manager and friend. More than a manager, he’s the person always on the other end of the phone, looking for solutions and supporting us. He takes care of the finances but goes beyond that: he has taught us not to set limits. He has such a big heart that it can hardly fit in his chest, and that’s why we love him so much!
- Map to Moon: Àngel and Rosa. This year, they launched our new website, an impeccable job that exceeded all our expectations. The website is powerful, intuitive, and easy to navigate. They work tirelessly behind the scenes with digital marketing strategies to ensure everything runs smoothly and that everyone gets to know us. Thank you a thousand times for your dedication!
- The Momonstudio duo, Mireia and Montse, the two “crazy creatives” behind our Instagram. We sincerely believe it’s out of this world! Besides managing our social media, they help us with countless other things. Their creativity and energy inspire us every day.
A Future Full of Freshness and New Horizons
All these changes have brought us to a new state. We’re not the same as we were. We’ve rejuvenated and gained the freshness we needed. We’re exploring new horizons, new ways to connect with you, and offering unique experiences while improving relationships with suppliers and consolidating a sustainable way of supporting the families around us.
Ultimately, all of this is for you, our clients and supporters. Our love for this work translates into your support, and we feel it. Your affection is the greatest gift we could receive.
